Kevin Spacey returns to acting with paedophilia drama
Kevin Spacey will play a small role as a detective in an Italian crime drama
Actor Kevin Spacey who has faced numerous sexual allegations is finally set to return to acting.
The 61-year-old actor will play a small role as a detective in an Italian crime drama, reports The Guardian.
The Italian film titled "L'uomo Che Disegnò Dio" will showcase the "House of Cards" actor playing the role of a police officer who will investigate the case of a blind artist played by the director Franco Nero.
The blind artist can make accurate portraits of people by listening to their voices. In the movie, he is wrongly accused of sexually abusing children.
Spacey has been sporadically seen on either big or small screens since 2017 after more than 20 men alleged the actor of sexual misconduct when he was working at the Old Vic in London between 1995 and 2013. However, the actor has denied all accusations of misconduct.
Due to the series of sexual assault allegations, Kevin Spacey was removed from Netflix's "House of Cards" and his scenes in Ridley Scott's All the Money in the World were reshot with Christopher Plummer, who won an Oscar nomination for his work.
Spacey has won several Academy Awards, including best actor for American Beauty in 2000 and best supporting actor for The Usual Suspects in 1996.
