Stocks open with moderate gains
Beximco Limited secured the apex position on the DSE turnover chart followed by Fortune Shoe and Lanka Bangla Finance
Equity indices of both the stock exchanges have witnessed moderate gains during the early hours of the trading session on Monday.
DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose by 0.19% to 6,050 points till 11 am.
However, DSE turnover in the corresponding period dropped by 19% to Tk688.53 crore compared to the previous session at the same time.

Beximco Limited secured the apex position on the DSE turnover chart followed by Fortune Shoe and Lanka Bangla Finance.
Fortune Shoe, Aman Feed, and National Housing grabbed the top three positions on the gainers' list, where Exim Bank, First Security Islami Bank, and Standard Bank reported the worst trading of shares by losing above 10% price.
Meanwhile, DSE had 176 gainers against 133 losers, while prices of 47 scrips remained unchanged.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) climbed 51 points to 17,558 by 11 am.
