Kolkata Test: CAB decides to refund ticketholders for days 4 and 5
The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has decided to refund the money potential spectators paid for the 4th and 5th days of the Kolkata Test that came to an immature end during the first session of the 3rd day at the famous Eden Gardens in Kolkata last Sunday.
The Kolkata Test between hosts India and Bangladesh turned to a festive occasion for the first-ever Pink-Ball day-night Test in the subcontinent and organizer CAB were found in happy mood as tickets for first four days and most of the tickets for the 5th day were sold out, but now they have to refund the last two days' tickets due to Bangladesh's dismal performance.
Bangladesh suffered an innings and 46 run defeat against hosts and world number one Test team India in the Kolkata Test to suffer a whitewash in the two-match series following another debacle in the first Test in Indore.
CAB sold most of their tickets online through agent 'Book Myshow', who have already sent a message to ticket holders of the 4th and 5th days to refund their money within a week, as per direction of CAB.
The CAB is also thinking of refunding money of those who did not purchase their tickets online.
