Farooki consoles Nawazuddin on his sister’s loss
Siddique heard of the devastating news while he was shooting for Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s “No Land’s Man”.
Life of an artist is not as glamorous as it seems. Stars have to act like stars despite the struggles and angst of tragedy that they go through in their daily life.
Eminent actor, Nawazuddin Siddique lost his youngest sister Syama, who after an eight-year old struggle with cancer breathed her last on December 7. The actor was really close with his younger sister and opted for the best treatment that there is. Siddique heard of the devastating news while he was shooting for Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's "No Land's Man".
In the light of the event, the acclaimed Bangladeshi director posted a status on Nawazuddin's loss in his Facebook account. In his post the director wrote that, "Two days ago, while we were shooting a scene, he Nawaz) received a call. We had no idea what was going on. He completed the scene brilliantly. After we packed up, I came to know he lost his sister while we were shooting that scene."
"While coordinating everything back home, he continued his shot and made sure our New York shoot is completed" Farooki added.
In the movie "No Land's Man", Nawazuddin has a sister called Saima and whenever he had to do scenes with his sister he would get slightly emotional.
Nawazuddin had often stated to the media that his sister's illness was like "a cloud covering all his success."
"Here I am going through a hard-earned phase of success. Every time I want to celebrate my success I remember that my baby sister is critically ill. It kills all my joy in life" added the noted actor.
