CFA Society signs MoU with DSE to help upgrade professional standard
The main objective of the initiative is to focus on professionalism and ethical standard among financial market professionals
CFA Society Bangladesh joined hands with Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) to help upgrade professional and ethical standard of market practitioners in Bangladesh.
Officials from the two groups signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard on Friday.
The main objective of the initiative is to focus on professionalism and ethical standard among financial market professionals.
CFA charter holders will provide support to arrange training programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences, and to undertake joint development programmes, according to a press release by the premier bourse of the country.
The society will also offer scholarships to the DSE officials to pursue CFA Charter.
Paul Smith, advisor of CFA Institute, Shahidul Islam, president of CFA Society Bangladesh and Abdul Matin Patwary, managing director of DSE were present during the MoU signing ceremony.
