Daughters to stay with Japanese mother till 3 Jan: SC
The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered that the two daughters of Bangladeshi citizen Imran Sharif and Japanese national Dr Nakano Eriko will stay with their mother till the next hearing on 3 January.
During this time, Imran Sharif will be able to meet the children freely at any time between 9am and 9pm, and there will be no obstacles for the girls to go to school.
A five-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain issued the order upon an appeal by Nakano Eriko against the High Court order that gave the father custody of the children.
The Appellate Division set 3 January for a further hearing on the appeal.
At this hearing, Advocate Ahsanul Karim and Advocate Shishir Monir stood for the mother, while lawyer Fawzia Karim Firoze represented the father.
