Attractive SME Foundation pavilion at DITF

A total of 19 small and medium level entrepreneurs from six production sectors have taken part in the ongoing Dhaka International Trade Fair 2020 with 21 stalls.
Among the stalls, six are from Boutique sector, three from handicrafts, six from leather, five from food processing, and the rest from Information and Technology sector, a press release issued by the SME Foundation says.
Since 2017, the SME Foundation is taking allotment of pavilion at the trade fair for small and medium entrepreneurs.
According to the press release, eight small and medium entrepreneurs took part at the fair in 2017. The number rose to 22 in 2018, and same number of entrepreneurs also attended in 2019.
The entrepreneurs at the SME Foundation pavilion are displaying cent percent locally made products for customers, the press release said.
In 2017, the SME entrepreneurs sold products worth Tk54 lakh while they got work order of Tk65 lakh.
The selling amount were Tk89.5 lakh and Tk1.38 crore respectively in 2018 and 2019.
