Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View hotel retains highest security status
The upscale hotel in Chattogram received the same certification in 2018 too
Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View, an upscale international hotel in the port city, has achieved the highest level of security status (Executive Level) certification for the second straight term. It got the same status in 2018 too.
Safehotels Alliance, a leading hotel safety and security certification company, certified the high-class hotel after making an official audit visit in December 2019, according to a press release.
The certification is given based on the Global Hotel Security Standard and recognised by hotel and travel associations, corporate travellers, the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) and major insurance brokers.
The criteria for certification consists of more than 270 individually on-site assessed components relating to security, emergency management, fire, health and safety.
Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View met all the criteria of the global hotel security standards that include security and fire equipment, staff awareness and training, crisis management, and first aid.
Safehotels Alliance does three levels of certification – certified, premium and executive – among which Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View achieved the Executive Level certification.
