NRB Commercial Bank launches Islamic banking window
NRB Commercial Bank Ltd has recently launched its Shariah based Islamic banking window titled Al Amin.
The launching program was held on Monday at the bank's head office, said a press release.
State Minister, Ministry of Religious Affairs Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah inaugurated the banking service as chief guest.

Al Amin will operate in various branches of the bank both inside and outside Dhaka, added the press release.
The Chairman of the banking window's Shariah Supervisory Committee M Azizul Huq and the bank's shareholder and Member of Parliament (MP) Salina Islam were present on the occasion.
Chief Guest Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah said, "Now a days, Islamic banking is playing a vital role in the economy. NRBC Islamic banking window Al Amin shall provide state-of-the-art banking services."
The customers can avail technology-based services from Al Amin, said M Azizul Huq, chairman of Shariah supervisory committee.
Chairman of NRBC Bank SM Parvez Tamal presided over the launching ceremony. He said, "Al Amin shall strictly follow the compliances of the Shariah policy. Its goal is to help the nation's welfare economy."
The bank's division heads and officials were present among others on the occasion.
