Biman flight to bring Bangladeshis back from China leaves today
The flight will return around 2am on Saturday
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight will leave at 5pm today for the Chinese city of Wuhan to bring back the Bangladeshis who registered to return.
The flight will return around 2am on Saturday.
After a meeting at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport's VIP conference room, State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Md Enamur Rahman confirmed the news.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque and Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen were also present there.
"A total of 361 people, including 19 families are returning. Of them, there are two children under the age of two," said Zahid.
"They will be quarantined in Ashkona Haji camp for 14 days. I request their families not to be eager to meet them immediately after their return," he added.
After the press brief, the ministers went to visit the Hajj camp. They assured that the Hajj camp is fully prepared to have the passengers quarantined in the Hajj camp after their return.
