The fourth one-day match of the five-match unofficial series between hosts Bangladesh A and touring Afghanistan A was washed out due to rain on Saturday.
Sent into bat first at BKSP in Savar in a reduced 44 overs a-side match, the second string Bangladesh team scored 173 for 7 in 38.4 overs before the match was stopped due to rain.
After the interruption, the match was again reduced to 40 overs a-side and Bangladesh were bundled out for 176 runs. They added three runs in remaining three wickets in eight balls, despite a 67-run fourth wicket partnership between captain Imarul kayes and Afif Hossain.
Number five batsman Afif Hossain scored the team highest 45 runs off 64 balls, hitting five fours and a six. Opener Imrul Kayes made 33 runs off 63 balls, featuring five fours while number six Jaker Ali scored 23 off 33 balls with two fours and a six.
Naveen-ul-Haq inflicted the major damage by grabbing five wickets for 40 runs.

Touring Afghanistan A team dominated the five-match series 2-1. They beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the first match on July 19 before beating them again by four wickets in the second match on July 21, both in Chattogram, to take a 2-0 lead.
Hosts Bangladesh team bounced back, beating Afghanistan A by seven wickets in the third match on July 24 in Chattogram.
The second string Bangladesh team will face their Afghan rivals in the fifth and last one-day match on Monday (July 29) at BKSP in Savar. The hosts must win the game to level the series.
