Canada advises citizens not to travel India
The decision few days after India’s Delhi saw a massive violence over Citizenship law
Canada has issued a high degree of caution for its citizens over traveling to India marking the country as "risk towards civil disorder and acts of terrorism".
The Canadian government has updated this alert on Friday on their official website.
The decision came when a few days ago, India's capital Delhi was burnt by hands of extreme Hindu nationalists killing 38 people until now as a result of recent Hindu-Muslim conflict over CAA.
They warned their citizens to avoid traveling to Gujrat, Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam and other nearby states.
They specifically mentioned the recent political unrest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and crackdown in Jammu and Kashmir to be the root reasons for inducing violence which can harm their citizens.
