IUBAT hosts National Debate Competition 2020
40 renowned colleges from different corners of the country participated in the competition
International University of Business Agriculture and Technology hosted its second National Debate Competition 2020 on its permanent campus in Dhaka on March 1.
The competition was organised by Debating Forum of IUBAT (DFI).
Forty renowned colleges from different corners of the country participated in the competition.

Among them RAJUK Uttara model college won the title while Adamjee Cantonment College became the 1st runners up.
The champion won a prize money of Tk15,000 and the runners-up won Tk10,000.
Actor Mr M A Alamgir was invited as guest of the day. Chief patron of DFI and the university's treasurer Professor Selina Nargis attended the ceremony as guest of honor.
Prof Dr Md Monirul Islam, Dean, College of Engineering and Technology, Prof Dr Momtazur Rahman, Chair, Department of English and Modern Language and adviser of DFI were also present in the ceremony as speakers.
Deans from different colleges, coordinators from different departments, faculty members, staffs and students from IUBAT and different colleges were present at the programme held at Lake Side Arena of IUBAT.
