Actress Mitu in self-quarantine after returning from Kolkata
Mitu went there to work in a movie named Commando.
Actress Zahara Mitu returned home from Kolkata just a few days ago. She was there for 17 days for the shooting of the upcoming film Commando, where she is starring opposite Dev. But as the shooting for the film was halted midway, Mitu returned to Bangladesh on March 18 and went into self-quarantine at her house in Uttara.
"As shooting of all the films in Kolkata has been suspended till March 31, I have come back to my country," Mitu said.
Over phone, The Business Standard engaged in a conversation with her where Mitu shared her experience and insights of shooting in Kolkata.
"The shooting took place in different locations of Kolkata and in the film studio there. Though it was a new place for me, I felt like I was with my family. Everybody was very cordial," Mitu said.
Speaking about Dev, the young actress remarked that Dev is a humorous man. "He can make anybody smile all of a sudden. Nobody can remain gloomy in front of him," Mitu added.
The director and all the people involved in the movie worked sincerely, she said, as the phone conversation inched towards the end.
Mitu has been spending her quarantined days in her home watching new movies and web series.
