Voting in Bogra-6 by-polls ends, counting on
A total of five candidates are contesting in the constituency
Voting in Bogra-6 by-election using electronic voting machines (EVMs) at all 141 polling centres has ended on Monday.
Voters cast their votes without any break from 9am to 5pm.
Five candidates are contesting for the parliamentary seat.

On Sunday, Election Commission (EC) officials set up 1,930 EVMs and engaged 3,100 staff for the voting.
Assistant Returning Officer AKM Zakir Hossain said 965 booths were set up in the voting centres.
"We have set up an EVM at each booth and another has been kept standby in case of any emergency or technical glitch," Zakir added.
A total of 4,000 law enforcers, including members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), were deployed to keep the law and order under control in the constituency.
How the parliamentary seat fell vacant
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was elected an MP from the constituency in the 11th national election held on December 30 last year.
But he refrained from taking oath within the stipulated 90 days of parliament going into its first sitting.
On April 30, Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury declared the Bogura-6 constituency vacant. Later on May 8, the Election Commission fixed June 24 for the by-election.
