Pearl Jam is all set to release their 11th studio album, on March 27. The album, titled, "Gigaton," will be released under the banner of Monkeywrench Records/ Republic Records this Friday in the US. Universal Music Group will distribute the album internationally.
Produced by Josh Evans and Pearl Jam, this album is the band's first studio album since "Lightning Bolt" which won Grammy Awards in 2015.
Pearl Jam lead guitarist, Mike McCready, in a statement on their official website said, "Making this record was a long journey." "It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. "Gigaton" marks the band's first collaboration with music producer Josh Evans, who previously worked with "Soundgarden" and Chris Cornell.
