Bangabazar blaze: National emergency service 999 resumes after temporary shutdown
The national emergency service 999 has been resumed after temporary shutdown due to the fire in the capital's Bangabazar on Tuesday (4 April).
The service was resumed at 7:20pm, Kamrul Ahsan, senior information officer of Police headquarters, told The Business Standard.
Earlier on Tuesday noon, the police asked residents to contact the local police station or fire station in case of emergency due to the shutdown.
The Police headquarters is located close to where the fire broke out.
