Bangladeshi people in India are requested to contact the Bangladesh high Commission in Delhi over phone with their proper details if the commission had not contacted them yet
The Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi, India has been preparing a list of Bangladeshi people who went there for treatment and got stuck there.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Mohammed Shahriar Alam, state minister for foreign affairs, said the Bangladesh high Commission in India has already made a preliminary list of Bangladeshi people to bring them back.
He also requested the stranded Bangladeshi people to contact the Bangladesh high Commission in Delhi on the phone with their proper details if the commission had not communicated with them yet.
The phone number of the Bangladesh High commission in Delhi is 85955-52494, and the Mumbai consulate is 98331 59930.
Those who have already reported to the high commission do not need to do that again.
"The complete list will help us to take the next steps. Until we can bring you back to Bangladesh, we will try at least to get the local authorities to look after your needs," said Shahriar.
"Those who wish to return must stay in Ashkona Haji camp and those who are undergoing treatment must stay in quarantine for 14 days in Kurmitola or other hospitals," he added.
