Biman extends flight suspension till April 30
The government decided to suspend domestic air connection in the country from March 25 till further notice
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has extended its flight suspension on both international and domestic routes till April 30 to stop spreading coronavirus.
Biman Managing Director Md Mokabbir Hossain told The Business Standard today.
On April 5, Biman Bangladesh Airlines extended its flight suspension on both international and domestic routes till April 14.
Earlier, Bangladesh cut air connectivity with 10 countries on March 21. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also extended the flight suspension to 10 countries till April 15 on March 28.
The government decided to suspend domestic air connection in the country from March 25 till further notice.
As of Saturday, the Covid-19 death toll rises to 30 and a total of 482 people are infected in the country so far.
