Police on Monday afternoon gave food aid to about 600 auto rickshaw drivers on condition that they will not come out during the ongoing shutdown to curb the spread of coronavirus.

The auto rickshaw drivers thanked police and promised not to come out during the coronavirus pandemic.
Bangladesh has so far confirmed 101 coronavirus deaths and 2,948 cases.
Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana on Monday said, "We're in a great crisis".
