The GK Covid-19 Food Assistance Fund Group has donated Tk11 lakh to the Gonoshasthaya Kendra for providing food assistance to the people in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
The cheque was handed over at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Bhaban at Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release issued by Gonoshasthaya Kendra on Tuesday.
AK Masud Ahmed and Mehjabin Masud, on behalf of the GK Covid-19 Food Assistance Fund Group, handed over the cheque to coordinator of GR Covid-19 Dot Blot project Dr Muhibullah Khandaker and Finance Manager Monika Rani Sarker.

The GK Covid-19 Food Assistance Fund Group is a collaborative effort of 39 employees of different organisations working to provide necessary food assistance for the working-class people whose income has stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
