Three doctors from the United States' Johns Hopkins Hospital will arrive in Dhaka to treat BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia – who is currently undergoing treatment at the Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
BNP media wing member Shairul Khabir Khan said they are expected to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow (25 October).
Law Minister Anisul Huq told the media today that the government permitted the foreign doctors to come in for the BNP chairperson's treatment, following her medical board's request.
Earlier today, Khaleda Zia was shifted from the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) to her cabin at the Evercare Hospital.
She was brought back to the cabin around 11:30am on Tuesday, said BNP press wing official Shamsuddin Didar.
Her physical condition deteriorated early this morning and she was shifted to the CCU as advised by her medical board.
