State-of-the-art fleet
Singapore Airlines boasts a young and modern fleet of 140 aircraft that includes Airbus A380s and A350-900s as well as Boeing 777s and B787-10 Dreamliners among others. As of 1 October 2023, the average age of its passenger fleet was 6 years and 4 months, and has 58 aircraft on firm order.
SIA is the first airline to fly the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, which is currently operated on its daily services from Dhaka to Singapore. SIA's 787-10s are fitted with Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 TEN engines and 337 seats (36 seats in Business Class and 301 seats in Economy Class).
Constructed using lightweight composite materials, the 68-metre 787-10 is the longest variant of Boeing's Dreamliner range of aircraft. With exceptional operating efficiency and advanced technology, the 787-10s are designed to offer a more tranquil cabin experience through customisable lighting preferences with large electronically dimmable windows, cleaner air, and a quieter and smoother ride. SIA customers travelling in Business Class enjoy the comfort of seats that recline into fully-flat beds with direct aisle access.

Flying with Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines currently offers two classes of travel from Dhaka: Economy Class and Business Class. However, its customers travelling beyond Singapore also have a choice of Suites, First Class and Premium Economy Class.
Available exclusively on the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 aircraft, customers can experience a sense of exclusivity and intimate privacy in each of the six luxurious Suites that have been touted as hotel rooms in the sky. Behind each artistically-designed sliding door lies a personal oasis complete with lavish furnishing and finishes that exude quiet luxury. Each Suite is furnished with a separate full-flat bed with adjustable recline and plush leather chair lavishly upholstered in full-grain leather by Poltrona Frau, enabling customers to lounge comfortably in the chair or rest in bed without the need to convert the bed from a sitting position. For couples travelling together, the beds in the first two Suites of each aisle can be converted to form a double bed. When not in use, the bed can be stowed completely, creating even more personal space within each Suite. The dining experience in Suites is also unparalleled, featuring fine bone china tableware from Wedgwood, an exquisite inflight menu, or a main course prepared by an International Culinary Panel of renowned chefs.
First Class offers passengers headrests sculpted for ultimate comfort, plush back cushions, and extended partitions for added privacy. Hand-stitched luxurious leather, adjustable reading lights, and ambient cabin lighting enhance the overall experience. Dining in First Class mirrors a high-end restaurant setting, with the option to reserve a main course crafted by celebrated chefs from around the globe, much like Suites. Personalised service and an extensive wine selection further elevate the dining experience.
Business Class is where rest meets productivity, offering passengers the flexibility to rest and work as they please. The seats recline into full-flat beds with lowerable armrests, ensuring that even short flights provide a chance to catch up on sleep. Ample stowage options, a business panel with essential connections, and an integrated reading light make it a haven for productivity. An HD touchscreen offers a wide range of entertainment options.
Premium Economy boasts wide seats, calf rests, and footrests, ensuring enhanced comfort. Two USB ports, adjustable personal reading lights, and power supplies for electronic devices are built into each seat.
Economy Class passengers enjoy ergonomically designed backrests, six-way headrests, and an HD touchscreen monitor with an enhanced KrisWorld entertainment system.
Rewarding loyalty
Apart from its top-notch service and inflight products, Singapore Airlines is also known for its rewards programme KrisFlyer for frequent travellers and the exclusive invitation-only PPS Club for premium class travellers.
KrisFlyer members can earn miles when travelling on flights operated by Singapore Airlines Group and other Star Alliance member airlines as well as from spend on KrisShop and Pelago. The miles can be used to redeem award flights or upgrades, and can also be converted to KrisPay miles for use as payments through lifestyle rewards mobile app Kris+.
Both KrisFlyer and PPS Club Members enjoy a wide range of privileges including priority seat confirmations, additional baggage allowance and lounge access depending on membership tier.
