Jubo League announces weeks-long programmes to fend off 'BNP-Jamaat's conspiracy'
As per the statement, Dhaka units of the Jubo League will hold rallies in the capital on 27, 28 and 29 October.
The ruling Awami League's youth wing Jubo League has announced countrywide weeks-long programmes in a bid to fend off opposition parties "BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami's anti-national conspiracies".
The organisation made the announcement in a statement, signed by its General Secretary Md Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, on Tuesday (24 October) night marking its 51st founding anniversary on 11 November.
As per the statement, Dhaka units of the Jubo League will hold rallies in the capital on 27, 28 and 29 October.
On 30 October, the organisation will hold countrywide youth victory rallies in all the metropolises of the country. On 1 November, they will hold similar rallies at district level and on 2 November at upazila, municipality level.
Marking the Jail Killing Day on 3 November, the organisation will pay tributes to the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 and the martyrs of 15 August assassination of Bangabandhu and his family in 1975, and the imprisoned Awami League and national leaders who were killed on 3 November 1975 at Banani Graveyard.
Jubo League has also announced a concert to express solidarity on 7 November.
The programmes will continue till 15 November.
