Muntassir Mamoon hospitalised with Covid-19 symptoms
Eminent historian Professor Muntassir Mamoon has been taken to Mugda General Hospital in the capital with symptoms of the Covid-19.
Hospital's Covid-19 Team focal person Dr Mahbubur Rahman said, Professor Muntassir was admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening.
"He is currently at the cabin ward with coronavirus symptoms. He tested negative for the virus earlier outside. We will conduct another test tomorrow morning," Dr Mahbubur added.

The health directorate Sunday reported the highest single-day rise of Covid-19 cases – 665 – in 24 hours till 8am. Two more deaths from the virus were also reported, bringing the total number of casualties to 177.
