Turkish citizen found dead in Cox's Bazar hotel
He was an IT officer at a Turkish field hospital in Balukhali Rohingya Camp
Police recovered body of a Turkey national from a hotel at Kolatoli area in Cox's Bazar Sunday evening.
The deceased is Misiut Dylan Dey, 50. He was an IT officer at a Turkish field hospital in Balukhali Rohingya Camp. His passport No is S-20740909. According to the passport, his father's name is Omer.
Confirming to the matter to The Business Standard, Officer-in-Charge of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station Md Khairuzzaman said, hotel authorities informed police as the Turkish man was not getting out from the room. The body was recovered from room No 702 of Hotel Suite Sadaf at south Kolatoli. The body was taken to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital at around 8 am.
Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of the hospital said, his blood sample was taken for coronavirus test. He has died before being taken to the hospital. Primarily it was assumed that he died of brain stroke. The body will handed over to the concerned authorities after the autopsy.
Additional commissioner of Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner's Office Mohammad Shamsuddoha Noyon said, "We were informed about the matter. He was working at Camp-9 of the field hospital."
