The mangoes of Rajshahi have won the heart of acting British high commissioner to Bangladesh Kanbar Hossein Bor.
The high commissioner tasted several varieties of the fruit while visiting a mango orchard at Jinnah Nagar in Rajshahi City on Tuesday.
“The mango of Rajshahi is very sweet and tasty. I feel very good to visit this orchard. The fruit is healthy too,” said Bor.

He visited the orchard of Anwarul Huq, the chairman of Rajshahi Agro Food Producer Society.
“We gave the high commissioner the famous Langra mango of Rajshahi. He also tasted Rajbhog and Amrapali varieties,” said Anwarul.
