3 win Game Review Writing Competition
Jawadul Islam, a first-year undergraduate student of North South University (BBA), secured the first position with his in-depth review of Persona 5
"Game Review Writing Competition" was arranged by The Business Standard along with "PS4™Bangladesh", a Facebook gamer group, to help young people flex and develop their skills since educational institutions are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak in Bangladesh.
The competition ended on May 7 with over 50 reviews submitted by young passionate gamers who are all students, ranging from school to universities. Their enthusiasms and passions towards getting emerged into the virtual worlds were reflected through their English writing skills, containing rich vocabularies.
Jawadul Islam, a first-year undergraduate student of North South University (BBA), secured the first position with his in-depth review of Persona 5. Since these reviews were also posted in the Facebook group, it attracted a lot of attention and many gamers instant decisions to experience this exceptional Role-Playing Game. The gamer also informed us about his passion in cooking and baking as well.
The second position is secured by Master Saadman Bin Anwar Eusuf Elan, as he took the readers through a wild and thrilling adventurous journey with the game protagonist, Nathan Drake, in the amazing PlayStation exclusive Uncharted 4: A Theif's End. Master Saadman is a student of Class 8 of Dhanmondi Government Boys High School and participated in the contest through his supporting father's Facebook account.
His father, Md Anwar Eusuf, informed us about his great passion in cricket and reading. The young boy's favorite cricket player is Shakib Al Hassan. Eusuf also expressed his sincere gratitude about such competition since this put his only son on the study table writing the review for hours.
Adiba Chowdhury, a first-year student of University of Dhaka (BBA), won the third position with her amazing review of the young prince Noctis and his loyal friends fighting against enemies that took over his father's throne through betrayal in the amazing adventure game of Final Fantasy XV. Adiba informed her great passion for gaming and making artworks. She is quite renowned in the gaming community, where people are deeply judged and respected not only for holding wide gaming knowledge but also supporting fellow gamers with advice and suggestions from time to time.
Among the judge panel were Azad Baig, Online in Charge at The Business Standard, Sabbir Hussain, Moderator of "PS4™Bangladesh" Group and Business Consultant by profession and Zihad Hossain, Moderator of "PS4™Bangladesh" and a graduate in Pharmacy from North South University.
The 1st position will get a gaming equipment (dual shock 4 controller) and 2nd and 3rd will get cash gifts from "PS4™Bangladesh".
The Business Standard will publish their reviews in three consecutive weeks.
