One more member of Bangladesh Police has died from the novel coronavirus infection in the capital today.
The deceased Md Mojibur Rahman Talukder, 56, was a sub-inspector of Special Branch's Paltan zone-1, said a press release of police headquarters.
Mojibur was admitted to Impulse Hospital, after he tested positive for the virus on May 11. Then he was taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Central Police Hospital at Rajarbagh, as his condition deteriorated. Later he was taken to life support as his condition deteriorated further. The police member breathed his last there at around 8:51am today.

His body was sent to Bogura under the management of police and will be buried there.
Bangladesh Police has reported deaths of nine members from the deadly virus so far.
