Another doctor has died of Covid-19 in the capital today.
The deceased - Dr Monzoor Rashid Chowdhury, was a former senior consultant of Urology Department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
"He breathed his last at around 11 am at Anwar Khan Modern Hospital," said Dr Ehteshamul Haque Chowdhury Dulal, general secretary of Bangladesh Medical Association.

"He was under treatment at the hospital for 18 days after being infected by coronavirus. He was 61. Monzoor Rashid had a chamber at the hospital after his retirement from Dhaka Medical," he added.
He was the 14th batch student of Sylhet Medical College and Hospital.
So far nine doctors died from Covid-19 in the country till now and four died with coronavirus symptoms.
