MoU signed for medical treatment of lower court judges
Universal Medical College and Hospital Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bangladesh Judicial Service Association to provide medical services to the lower court judges of Bangladesh for various diseases including coronavirus-related disease.
The MoU was signed in the conference room of the law ministry on Thursday.
In the presence of Law and Justice Secretary Golam Sarwar, President of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association Helal Chowdhury and Secretary General Bikash Kumar Saha and Managing Director of Universal Medical College and Hospital Limited Dr Ashish Kumar Chakraborty signed the agreement.

Senior officials including the Joint Secretary of the Law and Justice Department Umme Kulsum were present at the time.
Under this agreement, if any judicial officer of Bangladesh falls ill, they will get medical services from that hospital on a priority basis.
