Deshbandhu Group helps flood victims
Deshbandhu Group, one of the proinent industrial companies of the country, stands by with relief materials to help the flood victims in the country.
On Friday, at least eight places in Laksam and Burichong and Feni districts and Comilla were distributed among the flood victims on the instructions of Deshbandhu Group Chairman Golam Mustafa, reads a press release.
The relief package contained two liters of water, one liter of mango juice, one kg of chira and half a kg of sugar and jaggery.
During the distribution of relief in Laksam, Laksam Upazila Executive Officer Abdul Hai Siddiqui and Social Service Officer Uponnas Chandra Das, along with senior officers of the army, along with Deshbandhu Food and Beverage COO Idrisur Rahman, DGM Marketing Rabiul Islam, DGM Yasin Ali Gazi, Brand Manager Abdullah Al Jaber participated in the program with many others.
Golam Mostafa, chairman of Deshbandhu Group, expressed the hope that other industrial institutions and corporate organizations of the country should also come forward to help these helpless flood-affected people.
