Hasanul Haq Inu arrested in murder case
He has been detained from his Uttara residence, a deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed to The Business Standard.

Former information minister Hasanul Haq Inu has been arrested from the capital today (26 August) in a murder case filed with the New Market Police Station.
Inu, who leads a faction of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, has been detained from his Uttara residence, Faruq Hossain, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed to The Business Standard.
He is being taken to the Detective Branch office of the DMP, he said.
