The State Guest House Jamuna, the office of Chief Adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus, has become a plastic bottle-free zone.
Syeda Rizwana Hasan, environment, forest, and climate change adviser, spearheaded the initiative and urged her fellow members of the advisory council to cease using plastic bottles.
Chief Adviser Dr Yunus, endorsed the idea, leading to Jamuna now being recognised as a plastic bottle-free zone.

According to Shafiqul Alam, the chief adviser's press secretary, it has been about a week since the state guest house stopped using plastic bottled water. "Initially, I thought it wouldn't be possible, but it's been about a week since we made the switch," he said.
