Hasan Arif calls for hassle-free land services
Land Adviser AF Hasan Arif has asked land officials to ensure user-friendly and easy access to land services.
"A public servant should understand what people want," he said during a visit to the city's Kattali circle land office today.
He stressed on hassle-free and time-saving land services for citizens in government offices.
Official sources said this was the adviser's first field-level visit since assuming office.
Hasan Arif inspected the e-namzari process of an applicant and handed over a new khatian to applicant Nazim Uddin Sarkar.
Nazim Uddin gave special thanks to the adviser after receiving a hassle-free namzari khatian.
The adviser also inspected the activities of the ongoing digital survey and data entry activities.
Kattali Circle Assistant Commissioner (Land) Arafat Siddiqui informed the adviser about 'Bhumi Seva' initiatives and highlighted the objectives and progress of the Smart Land Management programme.
Senior government officials were present on the occasion.
