Our south-eastern megafauna
In 2016, Creative Conservation Alliance, a conservation-focused NGO, completed a Herculean task. The survey report they presented was otherworldly.
With the help of the Mro parabiologists, the NGO ran camera-trapping in the Sangu-Matamuhuri Wildlife Sanctuary. The trapping work revealed the existence of two critically endangered, nine endangered and 14 vulnerable species.
The team also found traces of tiger in the region. The south-eastern region is not only a piece of pride for Bangladesh, the region is of global significance.
