Deal signed for medical treatment of Rupali Bank employees
Universal Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with Rupali Bank to provide medical services to the lender's officers and employees for various diseases – including coronavirus-related illness.
Under the agreement, from now on all levels of officers and employees of Rupali Bank Limited and their family members will get all kinds of medical services – including special discounts and Covid-19 treatment at this hospital on a priority basis.
Rupali Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Obaidullah Al Masood and Universal Medical College Chairman Preeti Chakraborty signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
According to the agreement, all the state-of-the-art facilities including ICU, CCU will be ensured for the employees of Rupali Bank in the hospital, the hospital authorities said.
They also said that under the agreement reached in 2009, any member of the Rupali Bank family is being given special discounts on healthcare.
At the time, Rupali Bank DMD Khandaker Ataur Rahman, Arun Kanti Pal, GM Shafiqul Islam, Khan Iqbal Hossain, CFO Shawkat Jahan Khan, FCMA, DGM Monowara Parveen, Anisur Rahman and Head of Accounts of Universal Medical College Anand Kumar Saha were present.
