VITALIZERS 2.0: BRAC University’s top Business minds fight for the throne
The BRAC University Business & Economics Forum (BUBEF) proudly announces the thrilling conclusion of Bridge Pharmaceutical Ltd's "VITALIZERS 2.0," an intra-university business case competition.
This event showcased the brilliance and creativity of our budding entrepreneurs, who presented innovative ideas that left a lasting impression. The dynamic event culminated in an exhilarating grand finale on September 23, 2024, marking a significant milestone in cultivating the next generation of business leaders. The competition attracted exceptional talent and innovative thinking from students across the university. Participants vied for an impressive prize pool of BDT 20,000, generously presented by Bridge Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
The competition, which began with a record-breaking 550 registrations, attracted exceptional talent and innovative thinking from students across the university. Following a rigorous selection process, only five teams advanced to the final round, where they showcased their groundbreaking ideas to a distinguished panel of judges: Upala Shafique (Senior HR Business Partner, Syngenta Bangladesh Limited), Atiar Rahman (Chief Financial Officer, Omera Petroleum), and Toshan Paul (General Manager of Brand Marketing, PRAN).
In an exhilarating finale, Team "Tea pls" emerged as the champion, demonstrating a unique approach centred on building trust. Team "Tea Chaos" secured the runner-up position, while Team "Fast and Curious" was awarded second runner-up. Each team impressed the judges with their creativity, strategic insights, and practical problem-solving skills.
Mir Shahidul Haque, Director and CEO of Bridge Pharmaceuticals, served as the chief guest at the event. He remarked on the critical role of private universities in addressing industry needs, particularly in veterinary services. He also emphasized the potential impact of the students' ideas on the rural economy, sparking hope for a brighter future in the industry.
"VITALIZERS 2.0" not only served as a platform for competition but also fostered collaboration, innovation, and practical learning, equipping students to tackle future challenges in the business landscape.
