Policeman dies with Covid-19 symptoms

An assistant sub-inspector of Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) died with coronavirus symptoms in Dhaka Tuesday evening.
The deceased is Habibur Rahman, 53, hailed from Kalaskathi village of Bakerganj upazila in Barishal.
Deputy police commissioner (North) of BMP Khairul Alam said, he breathed his last at Rajarbagh Police Hospital in Dhaka.

"Habibur Rahman was admitted to Barishal Police Lines Hospital with fever and respiratory problems on June 16. He was admitted to Rajarbagh Police Hospital on June 17 after his condition deteriorated. He had been suffering from diabetes and hepatitis B. His condition deteriorated from Tuesday morning and died in the evening," he added.
