Joint forces arrest 26, including top drug dealers, from Mirpur

Joint forces have arrested 26 people, including several listed top drug dealers, from the Millat Camp area adjacent to Mirpur-11 in Dhaka today (15 November).
Some of the arrestees have been identified as Md Hafiz, Md Rabbi Gazi, Md Karim, Razia Begum, Mst Bizli, and Dipa Akhter, according to a press statement issued by the ISPR.
They were arrested in an operation conducted by the joint force of the Bangladesh Army, the police, and the Rapid Action Battalion.
During the operation, the joint forces seized ganja, heroin, knives, machetes, and cash from the arrestees.
The arrestees are accused in several drug cases filed with the Pallabi Police Station, according to the ISPR statement. They have been handed over to the Pallabi Police for interrogation and completion of legal processes.
