MTB partners with BASIS to offer collateral-free loans for ICT growth
Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) to provide collateral-free loans to BASIS members. The partnership, formalised at MTB's corporate head office, aims to facilitate easy access to credit for BASIS members, enabling them to tackle challenges and drive entrepreneurial growth in the ICT sector.
Under this agreement, BASIS members can access financing options to support sustainable business expansion, contributing to the advancement of Bangladesh's ICT industry.
Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Additional Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of MTB, and M Asif Rahman, Vice President (Finance) of BASIS, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
During the event, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of MTB, handed over the loan sanction letter to a BASIS member.
Key attendees included Usman Rashed Muyeen, Deputy Managing Director and Head of CRM; Khalid Hossin, Head of Digital Banking; and Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of SME and Agri Banking from MTB. Representing BASIS were M Rashidul Hasan, President, and Biplob Ghosh Rahul, Director, along with officials from both organisations.
