Bank Asia wins SAFA Award
Bank Asia PLC has won the SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Award 2023 for Integrated Reporting among all the participating institutions.
The prestigious win is a testament to Bank Asia's commitment to greater transparency and accountability towards its stakeholders. In addition, the bank achieved a ʻCertificate of Meritʼ among Private Sector Banks and a ʻSAARC Anniversary Awardʼ for Corporate Governance.
Mr Rumee A Hossain, Director and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board, and Mr ANM Mahfuz, Additional Managing Director of the bank, received the awards and certificate from the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Mr Nandalal Weerasinghe, at a ceremony in Colombo recently.
