IFIC Bank launches "IFIC Somriddhi" workshop to celebrate Women’s Entrepreneurship Day
IFIC Bank marked International Women's Entrepreneurship Day with the launch of its innovative workshop series, "IFIC Somriddhi," aimed at empowering female entrepreneurs across Bangladesh.
This initiative seeks to provide women with essential business skills, focusing on financial management, marketing strategies, and other critical areas vital for establishing and growing successful ventures.
As part of the programme, IFIC Bank has already trained and certified 105 women entrepreneurs, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary for excelling in their entrepreneurial journeys. The initiative is set to expand further, leveraging the bank's extensive network of over 1,400 branches and sub-branches nationwide.
Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Chief of Branch Business at IFIC Bank, stated, "Through 'IFIC Somriddhi,' we aim to provide the tools and resources that female entrepreneurs need to enhance their skills and contribute to the economic development of our country."
He also extended an invitation to female entrepreneurs and aspiring women professionals to join the workshops and be part of this movement toward greater financial inclusion and economic empowerment.
