Australian foreign minister visits Cox’s Bazar rohingya camps
Marise Payne visit several projects currently being funded by the Australian govt
Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne today visited rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar as part her ongoing three-day official visit to Bangladesh.
She some spent time with rohingya refugees and discussed their current situation and past hardships while visiting Balukhali 17, 18, Kutupalong and Modhurchora camp in Ukhiya.
Marise Payne came to Bangladesh to visit several projects currently being funded by the Australian government, in different rohingya camps, said camp sources.
The Australian foreign affairs minister reached Dhaka on Tuesday and arrived at the Cox's Bazar International Airport later the same day. She left Cox’s Bazar for Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon.
