Suu Kyi cancels visit to Dutch parliament
Suu Kyi was supposed to meet the foreign affairs committee of the Dutch parliament during the visit to discuss the background of the genocide charges Gambia pressed against Myanmar
Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi's visit to the Dutch parliament had to be cancelled due to "unexpected changes," said the Tweede Kamer, the lower house of Dutch parliament.
Netherland-based media NL Times reported that, Suu Kyi was supposed to visit the House of Representatives of the Netherlands on Friday.
Suu Kyi was supposed to meet the foreign affairs committee of the Dutch parliament during the visit to discuss the background of the genocide charges Gambia pressed against Myanmar.
Suu Kyi is currently in The Hague due to a lawsuit that Gambia filed at the International Court of Justice.
