Angelina Jolie returns to talk shows after a decade
Angelina Jolie surprised audiences on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' by going barefoot during her first talk-show appearance in ten years.
Draped in a black gown, the 'Maria' actress explained to Fallon that a broken toe left her unable to find comfortable shoes.
Jolie, 49, admitted feeling nervous, sharing, "I get very uncomfortable on talk shows. This is so not my thing." She opened up about her children, revealing their desire for privacy, particularly daughter Shiloh, 18. "It wasn't their choice [to be in the spotlight]," Jolie said.
Promoting her new biopic Maria, where she portrays opera singer Maria Callas, Jolie reflected on the influence of her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, while accepting a Gotham Award earlier this week.
The film, already generating Oscar buzz, has earned standing ovations at international festivals, marking another milestone in Jolie's illustrious career.
