Blake Lively’s publicist denies smear campaign claims
Blake Lively's publicist, Leslie Sloane, has denied allegations of planting negative stories during the It Ends with Us press tour, calling the claims "false."
This follows actor-director Justin Baldoni's plans to countersue after Lively accused him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated the countersuit would "shock everyone" and alleges Lively's complaint was a ploy to fix her reputation. Sloane refuted claims of manipulating media narratives, asserting she only responded to press inquiries and did not originate reports of HR complaints.

Lively's lawsuit accuses Baldoni of inappropriate on-set behaviour and retaliation through a campaign to tarnish her image. Both parties continue to dispute the narrative as legal proceedings loom, with Freedman promising evidence to support Baldoni's countersuit in 2025.
