Christopher Nolan to stick with Universal
Acclaimed director Christopher Nolan will continue working with Oppenheimer's distributor, Universal Pictures, for his upcoming film, and Matt Damon is reportedly in negotiations to take on a leading role, according to Deadline.
According to the same source, this next movie is scheduled to arrive in IMAX on 17 July 2026. Further details are still yet to be revealed.
Nolan parted ways with Warner Bros. after they decided to shift their entire slate to HBO Max.
"Some of our industry's biggest filmmakers and most important movie stars went to bed the night before thinking they were working for the greatest movie studio and woke up to find out they were working for the worst streaming service," Nolan said.
