Indiana Jones hat bags $630k at auction
Harrison Ford's iconic brown felt fedora from 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' has sold for an astounding $630,000 at auction in Los Angeles.
The hat, especially made for the 1984 blockbuster, was also used during additional photography at George Lucas's visual effects facilities. The sale was part of an auction that featured other notable film props, including items from 'Star Wars', 'Harry Potter', and 'James Bond'.
The high-profile auction highlights the continued demand for Hollywood memorabilia. Last year, Michael Jackson's Pepsi ad jacket sold for $300,000, while George Michael's jacket from his duet with Aretha Franklin fetched $115,000, surpassing expectations.
Hollywood artefacts continue to sell for impressive prices as collectors seek out these rare pieces of pop culture history.
