National Film Award for Muhin Khan of Close-Up One fame
In 2006, Muhin Khan became the first runner-up in the musical talent contest 'Close Up One'. He won the love of the audience with his original songs as well.
After a long journey with music, Muhin is enlisted to get the National Film Award 2021 for the first time in the playback singer category.
He will get the award for the song entitled 'Shonate Esechi Aj Padmapuran' in the movie 'Padmapuran'. Muhin will also be the first musician to win the National Film Award from 'Close-Up One'.

"I have come where I am today because of the love of the audience," Muhin said. "I am really overwhelmed with the verdict the jury board gave me considering my song and my singing overall. This national award has increased my sense of responsibility towards my work.
Besides being a musician, he is also a composer and music director. Currently, he is working on music direction for six new movies.
